This Year has been an interesting one. Almost everyone in our family is having a new experience with school starting.
So far though, despite all the changes everything is going wonderfully!
Lets start with Tanner. As many of you already know, Grandview Elementary was closed down this last summer (2008). This gave parents with elementary aged children 2 choices as to where they were going to send their kids the next year.
1- Lakeview Elementary
2-Westridge Elementary
This might not seem like such a hard choice, why send your kids all the way to Lakeview when they have a school just down the road? Well, all of Grandview's wonderful teachers were transfered to Lakeview.
We decided to Send Tanner to Westridge. Everything is going wonderful so far and he has a great teacher there too!

Kendra also had a new experience. She is in HIGH SCHOOL!! Can you believe it?! She is getting so old! She is walking down the halls of Provo High School this year with Kynsie.
She is having a great experience. The first day of school was a scary one for her. She was running for Freshman class Secretary!
After preforming a fun song to the beat "We Will Rock You" in the assembly, she waited for the results for the rest of the day...
and the results came back POSITIVE!
Kendra Rife is the Freshman Class Secretary for the 2008-2009 School Year!

Tyler is in Middle School! Tyler gets up every morning and catches the bus to Dixon Middle School. Going to 7 different classes is a new and fun experience for him! He is also learning to pay the Sax! Dixon passed a few new dress code rules this year too. All the students have to wear nice collared shirts with no logos, with clean cut jeans. Boy does Tyler look good!

Now for Kynsie...She is just Kynsie! Big bad Senior! Ruling the halls of Provo High School! Even something changed for her. Provo High gets out 5 min later everyday. Not TOO much of a change but for the sake of the post...it works! :)
She is the secretary for the senior class of 2008-2009 and in PHS Chamber singers!
(Kynsie left for school before I could get a picture of her....so this is as good as it gets!)
Going from a full house of kids all though the summer, to just having Kylee home has even been a change. Things have quieted down in the house.
and that is what makes me remember how much I love and miss them when they are gone.
